Major Iranian Hacking Attempt Uncovered, Plot to Harm Trump’s Campaign Exposed.

US Presidential Election 2024: Iran’s major theft and conspiracy in the US presidential election has been caught. It is alleged that Iran was attempting to steal data from Trump’s campaign and link it to Biden’s campaign.

Washington
: Iran was plotting a major conspiracy in the US presidential election set for November 5. However, its plot has been exposed before it could succeed. It is reported that Iranian hackers attempted to connect President Joe Biden's campaign to data stolen from his rival Donald Trump’s campaign. As part of their attempt to interfere in the 2024 election, they also sent unsolicited emails to people connected to the President. The FBI and other federal agencies shared this information on Wednesday.

Officials stated that there is no evidence that anyone who received the emails responded, which prevented the stolen data from spreading in the final months of the election. The hackers sent emails to people associated with Biden’s campaign at the end of June and the beginning of July, but shortly thereafter, Biden withdrew from the presidential race. According to a statement from the US government, the emails contained "a portion of non-public material stolen from former President Trump’s campaign." Earlier, the FBI and other federal agencies had also accused Iran of trying to interfere in the 2024 presidential election through "hack and leak" operations.

The FBI stated, the National Intelligence and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency office, stated that hacking into Trump’s campaign and attempting to breach the Biden-Harris campaign is part of an effort to undermine voter confidence and incite controversy in the election. Trump’s campaign team disclosed on August 10 that its information had been hacked. They said that Iranian hackers had stolen sensitive confidential documents and distributed them. At least three news outlets Politico, The New York Times, and The Washington Post were leaked internal confidential material from Trump’s campaign, though no one has provided further details on the matter so far.
