London’s Sexual Assault Problem Is Worse Than You Think!

London is facing a sexual assault crisis, with 8,800 cases reported in the past year one every 26 minutes. But the exact number could be as high as 52,000, as 83% of victims don’t report their assault.

This crisis has only worsened under Mayor Sadiq Khan’s leadership, with rising crime rates and inadequate policing. Since his tenure, the situation has deteriorated, and immigration has played a role in exacerbating the problem. Cultural differences and lack of integration in some communities have contributed to an increase in sexual violence, putting women at greater risk.

The silence around this issue is deafening. Along with the knife attacks, the outrage should be nationwide. But when sexual assault especially involving police or linked to immigration issues, is the crime, there’s barely a whisper.

Even more shocking, a substantial number of Met Police officers have been arrested for sexual crimes in the last four years, further destroying public trust. When those tasked with protecting us are part of the problem, how can victims feel safe coming forward?

London needs real leadership, real reform, and real accountability now for the sake of all those suffering in silence.
