A devastating fire has taken a fierce grip on the jungles of central Chile, creating widespread chaos throughout the country. The fire has now reached densely populated areas of Chile, leading to the tragic deaths of at least 85 people. The death toll is feared to rise as the intense fire continues to spread.

Chile: The jungles of central Chile are facing a severe wildfire that has assumed catastrophic proportions. The entire nation is now in turmoil as the fire has reached densely populated areas of Chile. Despite efforts by the firefighting department, the fire has become so intense that it is currently beyond control. Over 92 jungles in Chile have succumbed to the onslaught of fire. In the affected densely populated areas, at least 85 people have lost their lives, and approximately 1,100 homes have been reduced to ashes. The situation is still escalating.

The President of the country, Gabriel Boric, addressed the nation, stating that at least 85 people have lost their lives, and there is concern about the increasing death toll. The Valparaíso region is witnessing fierce fires at four different locations, posing an extreme danger to firefighting personnel. Boric appealed to the residents of Chile to cooperate with rescue workers, saying, "If you are asked to evacuate, do not hesitate. The fire is spreading rapidly, and controlling it has become challenging due to climatic conditions. The temperature is high, the wind is strong, and humidity is low."

A total of 92 jungles across central and southern Chile are now under the grip of the relentless fire, according to the Minister of the Interior, Carolina Tohá. She revealed that abnormal temperatures persisted in these areas throughout the week. In the Valparaíso region, authorities urged people to leave their homes and move to safe places due to the severity of the ongoing fire.

Three shelter camps have been set up in the Valparaíso region. Tohá stated that rescue teams are still struggling to reach the most affected areas for evacuation efforts. Nineteen helicopters and over 450 firefighters have been deployed to the region to gain control over the spreading fire.
