Space is vast, and within this immense expanse is our Earth. Surrounding Earth are several neighboring planets and moons. Space agencies around the world are working to reach these planets and moons. The most prepared mission is underway to reach the planet Mars. Another planet, Jupiter, lies next to Mars, and reaching it has been a dream for many. However, NASA has now shattered this dream.

Mission to Europa
In reality, while NASA may have shattered dreams of traveling to the planet Jupiter, it has kept alive hopes of exploring one of its moons. In another message, NASA wrote, 'We have brought the best for you. You can send your name for the Europa Clipper mission, which is set to take place in 2024. Through this mission, a study of the icy moon of Jupiter will be conducted.' This moon of Jupiter is located in the depths of space, 2.8 billion kilometers away from Earth.
However, NASA soon realized a mistake in its initial message, as it thought it had demotivated people from space travel. In another message, NASA wrote, 'Friends, we messed up a bit. We want to be clear that we want to go to our stars (planets and moons). We also want to encourage you to do the same. Don't stop dreaming.'
Why is it difficult to go to the planet Jupiter?
Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system, about 11 times larger than Earth. However, while life exists on Earth, it does not exist on Jupiter. Jupiter is a gas giant, and it does not have a solid surface. This is why, if a spacecraft were sent there, it would have nowhere to land. The planet has extremely high pressure and temperature, and any spacecraft sent there could turn into vapor within minutes.
